New-York-Hardcore Schweißbad auf dem Free&Easy Festival im Backstage
In einer der beliebtesten Konzert-Locations Deutschlands, nämlich im Backstage München fand vom 19.07.-05.08.2018 das sogenannte und immer sehr gut besuchte Free&Easy Festival unter anderem mit HATEBREED statt.

Am 29.07. hieß es dann im „Werk“, der größten Veranstaltungsfläche des Backstage – Stagetime für ordentlichen handgemachten Metal. Opener des Tages waren die Württemberger von „TOXIC SHOCK“. Als weiteren Support Act konnte man auf die ebenfalls aus deutschen Landen stammende Metalcore Kombo „A TRAITOR LIKE JUDAS“ bei kontinuierlich steigenden Temperaturen abfeiern.
Co-Headliner des Abends war die sich derzeit ebenfalls auf Europatour befindliche US-Crossover-Band „MUNICIPAL WASTE“. Mit immerhin schon 18 Jahren Bandgeschichte brachten die Jungs bei einer bereits sehr gut gefüllten Lokation das Publikum schon so richtig zum Transpirieren.
Sahara ähnliche Zustände beim Headliner HATEBREED
Full House hieß es dann beim Headliner HATEBREED, welcher pünktlich um 22.30 die Bühne stürmte. Die Hardcore Größen aus New York City brachten das volle Haus bei brennender Luft völlig zum Ausrasten. Klassiker wie zum Beispiel „Destroy Everything“, „In Ashes They Shall Reap“, „As Diehard As They Come“, „Live For This“ durften natürlich auch in dieser Setlist nicht fehlen. Die Gassenhauer wurden in gewohnter Weise und wie immer mit lautstarkem und textsicherer Beteiligung belohnt. Komplett durchgeschwitzt ist wohl jeder Besucher auf seine Kosten gekommen, so dass sich der ein oder andere sicher heute schon auf die kommende Tour mit Hatebreed, Kreator und Dimmu Borgier im Dezember 2018 freut.
